This is a synopsis, background or maybe an ultra short prologue, for the story Feathers or salvation.
It is not meant to be read before that story, if at all.
I wasn't planning on ever publishing this, but since I received some comments, along the lines of "WTF was that?", I thought I'd post it anyway, to clear up some of the mystery, for those who want it.
If you haven't read Feathers or salvation, then don't read this.
Progolue - Feathers or salvation
He was pissed.
Man wallowing in greed and hate. Pain and suffering exploding.
Love and kindness nearly a forgotten art. Replaced by lust and egoism.
This would end. Armageddon was due. The harsh Judgement.
But Gabriel spoke against him. First polite. Then heated. Then rebellion. He openly defied Him.
Gabriel was stripped of his feathers and powers. And his memory. He could join them and prove they were worthy.
Gabriel had expected as much, for he could glimpse the futures. He had taken precausion and planted seeds of knowledge and emotional triggers in key persons, who were destined to become good and mighty, in the world of men.
Man were faulty, yes. But not bad. He just needed a little guidance, and slight nudge. That was all it would take, to push the world away from it's current course.
All he needed was to empower some special individuals, who would grow up to be good and important.
But Gabrield hadn't foreseen it all.
Not only had He erased Gabriels memory. Every morning, it would be erased again.
Yet, Gabriel had no choice now. He must carry on. It was his and their only hope.
